Professional Health & Safety surveys and assessments

You may also need professional surveys or assessments, either on an annual or one-off basis. These might arise out of the nature of your work, or could relate to new premises or equipment. The following are examples of the surveys and assessments we can arrange to help you remain compliant:

  • Asbestos Surveys – to check for the presence of asbestos and provide recommendations for disposal
  • COSHH Assessments – to ensure the safe use and disposal of hazardous substances
  • Drug & Alcohol Screening – to screen certain individuals in safety-critical roles and help prevent accidents
  • DSEAR Assessments – to ensure that the necessary procedures are in place for Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres
  • Energy Certificates – this must be provided to tenants if you rent out part or all of your premises, as failure to do so could result in fines
  • Face Fit Testing – to ensure that any RPE (Respiratory Protective Equipment) that you use is safe and effective
  • Fire Risk Assessments – to assess and document the main risks of fire at your premises and suitable control measures to address them
  • Legionella Assessments – to ensure that the water supply at your premises is safe and that control measures are in place to help prevent Legionella outbreaks
  • Noise Assessments – to assess the level of exposure to noise for key individuals and the working practices in place to limit the impacts
  • PAT Testing – regular inspections to ensure that portable electrical devices remain safe to use
  • TM44 – required for air conditioning systems with a rated power of over 12kW that use a refrigerant as a cooling agent
  • Vibration – an inspection of your equipment and working practices to help minimise the risk of injuries caused by vibration
